専攻は現代フランス哲学、その中でも特にメルロ＝ポンティの思想を中心に研究している。現在私が関心を抱いているのは、彼の哲学の社会哲学、社会思想的側面である。彼の行った社会や歴史の問題についての独自の思索のなかには、身体性、相互主観性、言語などについての現象学的反省が働いている。現象学的な眼差しと社会思想的な問題意識とがどのように連関しているのかを、「構造」や「制度化」の概念を軸として考えてみたい。
