Although my background is in second-language acquisition and creative writing, much of my current research pertains to Technology Enhanced Language Learning (TELL) and mobile-based language education. Specifically, I have been researching methods of integrating cloud-based storage systems within the language classroom to allow students greater flexibility when interacting with multimedia resources. Additionally, I have devised multiple long-term projects that allow students to exercise their creativity while immersing themselves in English. Finally, I’ve found that having students evaluate contemporary film and television in English enhances their language ability and prepares them for greater critical thinking challenges.
