財務会計および国際会計の研究：財務会計における会計情報の有用性について国際的な比較を踏まえた研究を行っている。日本会計基準、米国会計基準および国際会計基準（IFRS）の改正や現在課題となっている問題について研究を行うとともに、企業価値評価に関する理論的および実証的研究、および国際会計において重要なテーマである外貨換算会計などに関する研究を行っている。
