契約法における契約救済手段、とりわけ契約からの解放制度について研究している。契約解除・危険制度などについて、世界の新しい契約法（CISG/PICC/PECL/DCFR/CESLやドイツ債務法現代化法などの各国の契約法の改正の議論）を参考に、要件論のみならず効果論も含め体系的な検討をしている。
