専門は英語教育で、学習者の自律性を高める教授法やアプローチに関心を持っています。特に英語に苦手意識を持つ習熟度が低い学習者を対象に、協同学習やアクティブ・ラーニングを取り入れた教材とアセスメントの開発、また、最近では機械翻訳や生成AIなどのテクノロジーを取り入れた場合の教育効果について実証的に研究しています。
