Teaching and Research Fields
研究テーマはいわゆる経営学です。企業行動を業種や規模等から分析し，それぞれに応じた管理，組織，戦略について既存理論を踏まえて考察するとともに，新理論の構築に勤しんでいます。研究の出発点は，正義論でした。経営倫理や企業の社会的責任などに関連する分野です。その後，日本的経営論，産業組織論等を踏まえて，経営戦略・競争戦略分野に軸足を移し，近年では事業創造や持続可能性（サステナビリティ）の分野にて新理論を展開中です。その理論は，「エコロジカルニッチ戦略」と呼ばれるもので，産業組織連関の中でニッチ分野を見つけ出し，自社の商流プラットフォーム（commercial platform）を構築することによって，事業の持続可能性を担保しようとする理論枠組みです。この理論の背景には，経済学のネットワーク外部性概念が深く関与しています。それゆえ，私の研究分野は常に経営学だけに留まらず，経済学を含めた社会科学全般に及ぶものです。
