Taslima AKHTER joined the School of International Studies (SIS) of Kwansei Gakuin University in April 2021. She received her Ph.D. in Advance Management from the Institute of Business & Accounting, Kwansei Gakuin University in 2019.She also holds an MBA from Graduate School of Management, Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University. Her research interest includes Corporate Sustainability Management, Sustainability Accounting and Reporting, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and Integrated Reporting. She is interested in investigating the corporate sustainability management and accounting from stakeholder theory, legitimacy theory and institutional theory perspectives. Her doctoral dissertation focused on the comparative study of integrated reporting practice between Japan and the UK. In particular, she examined the extent and quality of integrated reporting practice of these countries and the influence of corporate level determinants in adopting this practice in Japan.
