Teaching and Research Fields
中国・東南アジア・中東などの開発途上国における都市デザイン・都市計画・交通政策などに関する研究を行っています。研究では、政府関係者や市民など多くのステークホルダーとの対話を通じ、都市や空間の課題を明らかにしたうえでその解決策を検討する、というプロセスを大切にしています。
最近では、開発途上国においても、ICTやモビリティ技術（自動運転・シェア・電気自動車など）の進展、さらにはニューノーマルな社会に対応した空間づくりなど、新しい技術や社会の変化に対応した都市デザインや計画が求められており、興味深い研究テーマとして取り組んでいます。
