    Title:談話における話者の言葉の選択と役割理論
    Project summary:本申請の研究目的は、アイデンティティ理論のひとつである「シンボリック相互作用役割理論」を適用して、談話における話者の言葉の選択の背景を探ることである。従来の社会言語学や談話分析の分野では、国籍、民族、性差、職業、社会的地位などの社会的アイデンティティを談話から見い出すというのが通常である。しかし、話者の言葉の選択の背景には、それ以上の要素も多々存在する。例えば、会話の流れに由って話者が取るその場の立場や心理的役割が、ある一定の言語形式を選択するという現象も多くある。つまり、人は、その場その場でどんな役割を演じるかで言葉もそれに沿って選択するのである。当研究では、様々な場面での会話をデータに取り、そのデータを基に言葉の選択と「役割」(role)の相関作用を明らかにしたい。
