Research Outline
MORI Kumiko earned a BA degree in Human Sciences from Osaka University and an MA degree in Educational Psychology from Nagoya University. She earned a PhD from Nagoya University in 1991 for her dissertation on cooperation in the prisoner's dilemma. She then served as an Associate Professor at Aichi Shukutoku University. In 2003, she joined the faculty of Kwansei Gakuin University. Dr. MORI became a full professor in 2007.
Her current research is focused on the automatic process that occurs in social decision making and the development of moral behavior (e.g., sharing, giving, bargaining, and cheater detection) in autistic and non-autistic children.
