Teaching and Research Fields
超高齢社会における持続可能なまちづくり、地域防災、減災まちづくり、災害復興をテーマに、住民・行政・NPO等と連携しながら、長期密着型のフィールドワークに基づく実践的な研究を行っています。例えば、災害や過疎からの地域復興、自主防災組織とコミュニティづくりに関心を持っています。また、「哲学カフェ」や「論語教室」の運営を通じて、高齢者の社会参加のための場づくりに取り組んでいます。近年は、災害人文学や災難学の立場から、災害文化の研究に取り組んでいます。
