ターゲットとする有機分子は低分子有機化合物のみならず、分子量が明確な巨大分子や樹状高分子、分子量数万の高分子化合物、そして分子集合体やゲル・ネットワーク高分子など多岐にわたっています。
電気を通すプラスチックや眩い光を放つフィルム、ガスを貯蔵する粉末に傷が付きにくい樹脂、自然界を模倣した高次分子システム構築など、一人一人のアイデアを活かして社会のニーズを取り入れることにより、オリジナリティあふれる次世代材料の開発を目指して研究を続けています。
