私たちの研究室では、分子生命科学から生成される様々なデータについて進化的視点からの情報解析を行い、それらから新たな生物学的知見を得るための研究を行っています。解析の対象とするデータは、塩基配列、アミノ酸配列、立体構造、ゲノム、発現プロファイルなどです。これらのデータを用いて、分子進化などの基礎的なものから、創薬や医療などの応用に結びつくものまで広く解析を行うと同時に、そのような解析に必要な新たな手法やツールの開発も行っています。
