専門は英語教育で、学習者の自律性を高める教授法やアプローチに関心を持っています。特に習熟度が低く、英語に苦手意識を持つ学習者を対象とした学習者参加型の教材を作成したり、協働学習やアクティブ・ラーニングを取り入れたアクティビティやアセスメントを用いた授業実践をしたりすることで、どのような学習効果があるか実証的に研究しています。
