Teaching and Research Fields
My research has focused on a variety of barriers in EFL, including those rooted in culture, context and opportunity to use English. To this end, I have taken a great interest in how pedagogical technology frameworks (TPACK, SAMR) can be utilized to improve the use of technology in EFL classes.

I believe assessment instruments can have a great impact on class design and student motivation. Thus, I have also begun researching how more effective, intuitive testing methods can positively impact the classroom and student motivation.
