Teaching and Research Fields
My primary research interests lie in the development of contemporary missiology and the practical theology of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Additionally, I am concerned with the practical challenges facing Christianity in modern Japan and the development of empirical practical theology in the contemporary context. While grounded in literature research, I also place significant emphasis on learning through fieldwork, encounters with people, and empirical investigation.
