私は精神保健福祉領域における統合失調症者の回復（リカバリー）について、スピリチュアリティの視点から調査研究を進めています。当事者の回復プロセスにおいて、病気を抱えながらも「自分の人生をより健康により豊かに生きる」ということを支援していくとき、生きる意味や目的に関わりをもつスピリチュアリティの視点をソーシャルワーカが理解し、援助していくことが重要であると考えています。同時に、具体的支援の方法として当事者自身の活動であるセルフヘルプグループの支援を模索しています。
