Teaching and Research Fields
My main research interest is vocabulary acquisition and in particular whether English-based loanwords can be used as an effective learning aid. I have also developed materials and syllabi for a wide-range of courses including content-based courses, linguistics and task-based learning. I have also a wide-ranging interest in psycholinguistics and effective language learning.
