Experience in English for Academic Purposes (EAP), teaching adults, and teacher training. Committed to empowering students to reach personal and academic goals and the exploration of the choices they make in doing so. Cultivate a classroom environment that is collaborative, safe for risk-taking, and promotes learner autonomy through strategy instruction.

Have taught various courses for composition, humanities, EAP, Advanced Grammar, and ESL Life Skills courses and Literacy B courses predominantly for migrants.

Developed/conducted numerous international teacher training presentations and workshops for pedagogical purposes, including for tutors and students of literacy in EFL programs throughout Mexico.

Created/taught a hybrid online/face-to-face course for twenty professional journalists in the Mexico City, and designed a prototype training program for employees of Riviera Maya Hotel Corporation.
