Research Outline
国際協力機構（JICA）で30年以上働いていました。アジア、アフリカを中心に多くの現場を訪問し、ネパール、バングラデシュ、アフガニスタンでは長期滞在の経験があります。その間、インフラ整備から人材育成、様々な分野の調査やプロジェクトの実施、組織マネジメントにも関わりました。特に教育、保健、水資源開発、防災、広報、平和構築・危機管理における実務経験が豊富です。また人間の安全保障やジェンダーを促進する業務も担っていました。
関西学院に着任する直前は、ものづくりで有名な中部地域で地域に根差した国際協力に取り組んでいました。その経験から国際理解教育や多文化共生・外国人労働者問題、市民参加協力、加えて日本の企業（特に中小企業）の開発した技術が如何に途上国の課題解決に貢献しうるのか、と言う点についても関心を有しています。最近は国内におけるイノベーション、ＳＤＧsへの取り組みや地域活性化・地方創成の動向についても注視しています。
国の内外を問わず、より良き社会の実現に向けて何ができるのか、皆さんと共に考えていきたいと思っています。宜しくお願いします。
