金属錯体化学を基軸として、固体物性に関する研究を行っています。金属イオンと有機配位子から構成される金属錯体は、その無限の組み合わせから多彩な化学・物理的性質を示します。私は、その中でも磁気・誘電特性に焦点を当て、金属錯体を基盤とする分子性材料の開発を目指しています。また、配位子設計の自由度を駆使して金属錯体骨格に構造柔軟性を組み込むことで、金属錯体を物質基盤とするソフトマテリアルの開発にも取り組んでいます。
