Stephen’s research focuses on cognition, discourse and functional relationships in language classrooms. His research centres around European approaches to content and language integrated learning, and he applies these practices to his classroom teaching. Stephen researches in the field of second language acquisition in the subject discipline of intercultural studies, and has also taught modern art history at the undergraduate level for several years.
