In my 9 years of experience teaching English to speakers of other languages at the university level, I have become interested in the intersection of successful learning outcomes, learner motivation, and global citizenship, particularly regarding environmental study. My current research focuses on the effect of hands-on learning and community outreach on student perceptions of English learning.
