医療機関は多数の専門職が協働して目的達成を図る労働集約的かつ複雑な組織です。その組織をいかにマネジメントするかということを経営学・医学の両面から追求し、医療現場・ひいては社会全体に還元できるような知見を提供することを追求しています。
特に、情報技術の活用について興味を持っています。私はこれまで医療現場における情報技術の活用に関する研究・実務に従事してきました。ビジネスにおける情報技術を通じた価値変革のことをDigital Transformationといいますが、そもそも医療における本質的な価値とは何だろうかという問いが生じます。これらのことについて、総合的に研究・教育を推進してゆきたいと考えています。
