我々が⽣きゆく上でおきるさまざまな⽣理/⽣命現象は、体内の各所でおきる⽣化学反応の連鎖と
調和に基づき⽣み出されます。私たちの研究室では、この⽣化学反応が「いつ」「どこで」「どの
ように」制御されるのかに着⽬し、研究を進めています。特に、⽣化学反応の基幹変動因⼦である
温度、⽣命の時間の根源である⽣物時計を中⼼的に取り扱い、脳神経をはじめとした各臓器、およ
びその臓器の中の細胞の機能制御機構について明らかにします。病とは、⽣化学連鎖反応の不調和
・破綻に起因します。そのため私は、これらの研究を通じて、⼈々の健康の増進に少しでも貢献し
たいと考えています。また⼀連の研究活動を通して、学⽣のみなさまには、論理的な思考⼒を育ん
でいただくと同時に、社会で活躍するために必要なプレゼンテーション能⼒・⽂章作成能⼒を会得
していただければと考えています。
