宇宙にあるX線やガンマ線を放射する高エネルギー天体について理論的な研究をしている。現在は主に、活動銀河中心核の一種でブレーザーと呼ばれる天体からでるジェットでの輻射過程や粒子加速を計算するコードを作り、コンピュータ・シミュレーションによってこの天体の物理状態を調べている。
