Title:1970年代以後の人文学ならびに芸術における語りの形式についての領域横断的研究
Project summary:2018年度は京都大学人文科学研究所にて、一カ月に二回のペースで合計12回の研究会を開催した。主題は芸術（音楽、メディアアート）、経済学（とりわけ新自由主義経済思想）、精神分析、現代思想など多岐にわたるが、議論の焦点の一つとして浮き上がったのが、今日の世界的状況のルーツとしての1970年代である。歴史学においてはいわゆる言語論的転回などによって、既述の相対性が過度に強調されるようになる。歴史的「事実」のラディカルな否定、そして「記憶」の過剰なまでの強調はまた、今日のいわゆる歴史認識問題（東アジアばかりか旧東欧においても、これは極めて深刻な政治的係争を引き起こしている）やポスト・トルース時代の遠因となっているといっても過言ではない。また第二次大戦後のいわゆる前衛芸術が強いユートピア（反ユートピア）希求を一つの特徴としていたのに対して、1970年代前後からの実験芸術（とりわけミニマルミュージックやアンビエントミュージック）は、相対主義を旗印とした一見自由な、しかし紛れもない保守回帰と闘争への白けと心理学的ミーイズムを特徴としており、1968年闘争が挫折して代わりに環境保護運動やメンタルヘルス等が新自由主義経済とタイアップするように浮上してきた時代相と符号している。思想においては、これまた行動主体の過度の否定とオートポイエーシス的システムの不可避性の強調が、この時代のフランス思想ならびに（アドルノが亡くなったのちの）ルーマンの思想にはっきり見られる。また「環境」や「癒し」や「コミュニケーション」の流行は、近代芸術が標榜してきた「大きな物語の啓示」からの離反を示唆するとみるべきであろう。端的に言って、「語る主体」を消すことを通し辛うじて、人文学の場合は「学的客観性」を、芸術創作の 場合は「社会的有用性」を、それぞれ担保しようとしてきたのがこの半世紀弱であるとすら言える。
