Profile
ブラックホール時空や初期宇宙といった強い重力が関与する物理現象や，量子系の古典化現象（どのような条件下で量子系が古典力学で良く記述されるか）に興味をもち，その理論的研究を行っています．
　最近では，（1）ブラックホールの熱力学的性質（その質量で定まる温度でホーキング熱輻射をし，エントロピーをもつなど）の基礎付けに関する問題を，超弦理論にもとづいて再考すること（2）ゲージ／重力対応とよばれる超弦理論の予言（核力と重力との間には対応があるという予想）を利用して，核力の難しい問題を重力で理解すること，また逆に，重力の難しい問題を核力で理解することなどに興味をもって研究を進めています．
