私はアントレプレナーシップ (entrepreneurship) とイノベーション (innovation) という二つのテーマについて研究しています。特に、創業から間もない「スタートアップ企業」(start-up firm) に関してデータを用いて実証的に研究しています。たとえば、以下のトピックについて現在研究を進めています。

（1）スタートアップ企業を対象とした合併と買収
（2）スタートアップ企業の移転
（3）創業および創業後のパフォーマンスにおける創業者の人的資本が果たす役割
（4）スタートアップ企業に対するベンチャーキャピタルによる投資
（5）スタートアップ企業による知的財産権 (特許、商標など) の取得
（6）スタートアップ企業における経営者の交代

これらの研究を通して、アントレプレナーによる創業および創業後のスタートアップ企業に対する公的支援の方向性について示唆を与えることを目指しています。

また、私がセンター長を務める本学アントレプレナーシップ研究センターにおいては、国内外の研究者間および産学連携による共同研究を積極的に実施しています。
