Profile
心筋梗塞などの動脈硬化を基盤とする疾患は、癌と並んで生命予後や生活の質に著しい影響を及ぼす国民的疾患である。急性期医療の進歩に伴い発症時救命率は劇的に向上しつつあるがが、発症予防、予後改善や生活レベル維持など生涯にわたる長期的施策に関する知見は未だ不十分である。心筋梗塞、脳卒中の急性期治療の大規模調査から遺伝子多型やバイオマーカーなど個人の特質に立脚した個別化医療確立と健康、生活の質改善を目指す。
