主な研究活動としては、証券市場での価格形成についての計量的な実証分析を行っている。市場で流通する情報の性質が、どのように株価の変動特性に影響を及ぼしているかというテーマに取り組んでいる。幅広い意味での企業情報は、直接的な企業自身の情報開示だけでなく、専門的な分析情報 あるいは一般投資家へのマスメディア報道など多岐にわたっている。これら情報の伝達プロセスが、株価のボラティリティなどに及ぼす経済的効果に関心がある。
