Oliver Rose is originally from Australia, and has lived in Japan for 18 years and taught at all levels of the education system, from elementary school through to university, as well as teaching English to JOCV trainees and on the Peace Boat. His main pedagogical interests are in developing materials that support acquisition of productive skills, leveraging L1 knowledge in teaching, and Technology Enhanced Language Learning (especially apps and websites).
