プロフィール
Dr. Francois de Soete received his Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia, where his doctoral work focused on political philosophy and international relations. His research examines the relationship between power, self-interest, and ethics in the realms of politics, international relations, and the natural environment. Some examples of his research projects include: the changing concept of justice over time in political discourse; the applicability of realist theory in contemporary international relations; the role of economic, political, and societal forces in shaping human-animal relations; and the influence of history and national identity on American foreign policy.
