研究概要
My teaching background includes over 15 years of experience teaching in EAP, ESP, and Study Abroad programs in various Japanese universities in Kansai. My research background is in writing development, with a particular focus on L2 syntactic complexity and how different types of writing practice influences the development of complexity. My current research expands the investigative scope to look at how other variables such as accuracy and fluency interact with complexity in the development of L2 writing including how learners themselves perceive the effect of writing practice on their own development.
