マヨネーズや歯磨き粉の流れを例とする, 弾性力付き圧縮性粘性流れを数理モデル化した偏微分方程式系(圧縮性粘弾性流体方程式)について研究しています. 具体的に, 弾性力のもつ「もとの形状に戻ろうとする反作用」の影響を念頭に, 方程式系をみたす解の長時間挙動の研究に取り組んでいます.
